My heart I bear
Open to bleed on these carpeted floors.
In the sky the shattered dreams shine out of my grasp.
Your door shuts.
I sit alone, ears open for a sign of hope, a sign of want, a sign for me.
All I want is love.
All I want is acceptance.
All I want is you.
Someone to share the shards of dreams with.
Someone to share my broken heart and bleeding eyes.
Someone to pick my heart off the floor and place their heart where mine once called home.
And in one commanding motion two become one.
We carry each other forever... forever…
No turning back now,
I’m all alone, how it should be
No one to pull my dreams down from the sky, and put them back in my heart where they belong.
