and replaced it with a song,
a delicate melody to fill me.
I can't regret my losses
I feel its notes from my ears to my tail
and I've never been so happy
Ever.
the complex series of crescendos
echoing louder
and louder
always fill the silence
and I can't stop to think
without hearing a harmony
or a chord
or a small, soft echo
ringing in my ears.
my song is comfort in the dark
umbrella in the rain
entertainment in boredom
it's an extra burst of happiness right when i need it
and it's always there
it's a complex little thing.
ranging from bass to soprano
piano to forte
with bits of vibrato
and staccato
it's melancholy
and joyous
and angry
and calm
It's a perfect mix
of extremes
and means
and it's positively perfect for me
Author notes
Sometimes I really do think that someone stuck a song in me for my soul. it would probably explain a lot of things. The "ears to tail" remark in the first stanza is a reference to the fact that I like to think that I'm half cat. I'm not sure why, I've just always felt that way.

I loved your title and for the most part your word choice. In places your flow seemed a tad choppy and forced. Anyway, for the most part this was quite enjoyable. Thank you for sharing it.
Good luck.

very original, really cool and fun to read, it's like you made music readable, well that's simply called rhythm I guess! anyway it's really good, the most original and vivid poem I've ever read on this page actually!
