salvation is not for
the ordinary of men
but for the ones
who act on it
everyday
sadness is those
who never knew
it was a word at all
some of us look
for a soft place to fall

Congratulations on the gold. This is a message we'd all do well to listen to and heed. I like your tactful approach to the subject and your method of delivery.

nice!..this is the best rendition for this quote..nice job!..subtle..short and kinda abstract..but really thoughtful and well written out..very thoughtful..and i think while this poem can def. fit in a lot of quote..i love the contrast of the title..i heard him say..vs the quote..the silence of friends...nice piece
