My heart belongs to his soul
unmatched by passions desire.
Granting him sheer pleasure
on nights I pick to expire.
If only he loved like me
truly unconditional with fire.
Genuine to his promise
No! he's a cozy sweet lier.
I can't understand deception
my struggle for perfection.
So am ending it here, now
for my hearts own protection.

Yes, this is a wonderfully powerful message. How many are seeped in a relationship, dipped and soaking it deception. I understand it just fine: I just don't tolerate it well. A very nice piece (I was pointed in your direction by Swangrnv). Thank you very much for this write.

Love that is misunderstood..
no matter how little
causes pain and sadness
Thank you for taking this
to your own place
best of luck

cozy sweet liar..
that is a unique idea. I like your choice of words here. I also like the phrase' 'my heart belongs to his soul.'. This is a sad, well written poem. I like the rhyme.
