Within solitude...
I hear music
I feel bass drums
I dance savagly
Under the full moon
Within solitude
I wrap my arms around you
Wishing for you
To Be here with me
We don't need
Anything
Any kind of serenade
Celebrate the common man
Within solitude...
I can think how I want
Act how I please
Take a trip
'Round the world
Count the guns
Stitch the scars
Find the device
Be defined.

This poem is a great take on the prompt. I especially like your last stanza. It really is true that if we appreciate and learn to enjoy being alone with ourselves, we can do as we please, with no judgement from others. In other words, we are free to be who we truly are on the inside. Thanks for entering my contest. Nice write! Blessings, Patty
