You came from beyond the stars
anonymous, moving in space and time
taking me to the borders of the sun
until I became your sunshine
and you became my shadow


I was only an exhausted bird
lost..

wandering in the desert
now I am flying to a secret sky
where my soul spills into yours


I was drowned in seas of sadness
searching for the treasure island
you brought me pearls full of joy


My heart is burning with passion
for this wondrous emotion that I now behold
The voice within speaks only of eternity


We are two connected spirits beyond words
when the whole world is going insane


I hear your whispers so near
it didn't need translation to be heard
telling me I have nothing to fear


So I allow bundles of love to be unwound

Discovering new language by a miracle
That neither one of us have spoken before..

    I love the sweetly romantic air this piece, seamlessly woven with all those vivid images. "taking me to the borders of the sun", such a beautiful line.

    Great poem, the first stanza does a really good job of drawing the reader in and making them take notice. The second stanza follows along nicely and is quite potent with it's pointing out of our insignificance. I quite like the nebula type theme you have used through out though I must admit it reminds me of a 'trip' I once went on. The poem had good depth and feeling and is ultimately well penned.

    i have felt this way since i met my own soulmate, and I thank the Gods everyday for bringing him to me, and for giving me the chance to have three of his children and become his wife.
