You once asked me
"Hey, where'd you go? Not speaking to me now?"
I wanted to explain
There is no such place of "not" with you.
There is want...superceded by need
An addiction of Mennen...deepening the need.
Please tell me what you think

Hey, now, short, simple, sweet.
Oh yeah, the Mennen need. *sweats*

Another great read.

Want, superceded by need...
I like the terse feel of this poem, want "superceded by", and not "becoming..." carefully selected words, it's sad and perceptive, i can dig it

Even a "one sided" connection is still a connection,
though yet now incomplete. Any connection, once made,
can never again be fully separated, for there is a
mixture of minds, hearts and souls that takes place,
changing us forever...

When I had money it was fairly easy to differentiate between want and need. I could buy what I wanted and had what I needed but a poor man needs more than fanciful wishes to put beans on the table. I realize that's being a tad bit overly simplistic and your poem speaks of needs of the heart as well as the body.
Sincerely,
Leo Long
