Blood Lust

she drank from Erzebet's goblet-

red wine laced with pinpricked fingers,

the lingering taste of iron;

metallic warmth.

grisly murders are committed

under wane midnight moons,

as the heather fields wilt

under cold lifeless bodies,
frozen forms.

Baptisms in blood.

    a very nice poem. i loved every line, had a bittersweet feel to it. it seems like every poem you write, has so much of your dedication invested within.

    this gives a mood, an eerie mood, but of course that suits the subject. i think for the subject of vampires, it is just wonderful.
