Fickle fairy
Keep me wary
Wandering through the darker wood
If I could speak
I would whisper
As a mouse would squeak
With an eye to the sky
Fearful voice shaking within the darker wood
I wonder why
As I wander nigh
Under and about these darker places
Beneath the clouds' heavenly graces
If and how
A dragon might wish me to die
Tricksy fairy
I dare not tarry
Why do you hand me this sword?
What am I to do with this shield?
I am but a simple peasant boy
And my name is Gary.
Wait!
Where are you going?
This fear within me
along with that sulphory smell
is growing...
A dragon grins a smokey smile
Dancing fire upon this knight
Shine like the stars with an angry light
And remind me to pay the fairy
For bringing me this tasty knight named Gary.
