Sleep, baby, sleep.
Sleep, don't stay awake.
Sleep, baby, sleep,
In the morning you'll wake.
Rest those pretty blue eyes
and those chubby arms.
Don't be scared anymore
you're out of harm's way.
Sleep, baby, sleep.
Sleep, don't stay awake.
Sleep, baby, sleep,
In the morning you'll wake.
In the morning, you'll feel better
with the sun and the clear blue skies.
You'll have more energy,
and you'll be ready to play.
Sleep, baby, sleep.
Sleep, don't stay awake.
Sleep, baby, sleep,
In the morning you'll wake.

I loved the line about chubby arms and immediately wanted to hear the rhyme of "You're out of all harm" following it. Thank you for this berceuse with its traditional flavor. I hope you have a tune in mind and will sing it to someone.
