I flick daily through my ipod tracks,
The beats my only escape
I listen to the sweet melodies.
That warn of things yet to come
I listen to the drones of singers way past gone,
The daily tunes grow more and more,
As I become addicted to the rhythm
The guitar notes are my puppet strings
And the drums act as my master
Without the music, i'd lose the beat
And my everyday routine,
As music has become my way of life
My one and only withdraw,
Each day I succumb to the beat
Of my sweet melodies.
