My Little Brother

             My Little Brother

A have a little brother

who is a bad, bad boy.

He practically kills me

even though i'm still alive.

He is my little brother,

so I can't be mean to him.

But at times he gets on my nerves too much,

and I have to cry like a wimp.

Sometimes I am blue,

Or else i've got a flu,

and my brother is the only one

who can totally freak me out.

He whines like a  baby,

even though he's almost five.

And then I have to shout so loud,

your ears might just break and burst out.

Well... I know he's little,

And that he'll cry and and whine and pout,

but it sure felt good

to get all this out.

    I can relate to this b/c you know I have 3 younger siblings and to make matters worse they are all boys. I know what it is like and I still do they are like little elves who throw heavy stones on thin ice and sometimes I just can't take it. I confess even I the poetic moe12 scream and yell at my brothers but that is natral

    Good poem but I'm afraid this doesn't fit the topic for the contest. This is a contest for fond memories and this does not fit that. Sorry.

    Aww its so cute! I don't have a little brother so I can't personally sympathize, but i simply don't like little kids in general (I'm horrible, I know!) as they just love to TERRORIZE me for some reason. Your poem is so cute thanks for entering!

    Adorable!

    She does have two older brothers that test her poor little nerves to no end and does scream at them. I remember doing the same in my youth with my siblings as well. This is a cute piece and again another that will make judging this contest a bit difficult. Thank you so much for entering and best of wishes. ~mandie~

    That's what's so great about poetry! You can let your feelings out! As a big sister, I can sympathize with you totally on this one But you know what? My kid brother is my best friend now and nobody is ever mean to me when he's around Of course, he's 10 inches taller that me know and I love him forever

    Well being the youngest among my siblings I can't say I know what t's like to have a little brother or sister... but I do have lots of neohews, i know it's not the same. This was a very cute write. Your words made me smile. Thank you for sharing the laughter and words.
