rivers and sand
we are starving
crows are inventorying the sky
crushed by doubtful seeds of wisdom
sewn by feathers, woven through time
I am dying for the very last time
mounted on walls
spring collections of rot
home decay
shelving units in disarray
held in tiny hands
a minuscule background
I am evolving
slowly proceeding to a future
artistic grin
I was never a great liar
I have no painted
my silhouette on velvet
a semi-precious indigenous igneous
story
myth spun in fable lore and legend
a glass cup that holds the wine
I never have to hide
we are starving for now
but never too long
wait for me in the end
I will always dream on
waiting for you
to wipe your tears away
don't go, please wait for me
