Star-kissed, Nuit,
Lady of milky way and
Queen of Midnight!
I see you Above!
She who is all Purple,
Lavender, Light, Love
Shower me in kisses
Ecstacy!
Aum Ha, Ancient Lady
Come now, show me
how Love can be
Fill me! Thrill Me!
Ancient Goddess,
womb of Time,
She who is all Emptiness
pregnant with universe;
Show me the beginning
before Sin and Regret
came to mankind;
a sour curse!
Oh Nuit, before Isis
you were in reign,
showering sensuality
for all to recieve!
Help this poor man
to reach out for
the Ba of Eternity,
ready to recieve!
Author notes
Nuit is one of the oldest goddesses of Egypt, from the Netjer with Horus the elder and younger via consumption by his mother-sister Isis, it says in Anu Papyrus number 666 that Nuit is also the Mother of "The Abomination of Desolation" which is Time itself.
Nuit, it seems, may be mother to Amun Ra and Osiris and Set, but the dating of some of the materials can be questioned, so we'll never know.

Really a splendid job! You know more about Ancient Egypt than I do.. but then again they never taught us the good stuff in school and our history books sucks so even if I had read about "Nuit" before, there would have been no change of my remembering her.
Anyways, thank you so much for entering this in my contest. I really enjoyed reading, the wording and the alliteration are absolutely EXCELLENT

Absolutely BRILLIANT!
I have been searching for a sky-related name to incorporate.. and here you have many! I am a fan of backgrounds, they often help set the mood... even still, your works are not so stale or bland that they need artful decoration to develope a mood, as such.
This piece really blew me away, for many mostly personal reasons. I love the way you have scribed about her, and the context and talent involved. Well freakin done!!
