This soul belongs in eternity
where sight is nothing but a dream,
I know I'll never get there though.
I like to think on never seeing
all the things I don't wish to see,
but I guess that asks for too much.
I've worked hard at being oblivious
it's taken a lot of practice,
all I need now is to perfect it.
I laugh quietly to myself
now that I think about it carefully,
I find I don't care for perfection.
