A Naming of Characters

A handful of part-developed characters that might be useful, I hope so.


Dragons:  Pensivast : a quiet yet very large dragon who has difficulty getting his fires to work so they keep appearing at embarrasing moments.

Grumsditch: a female dragon who complains a lot about her lot which is, in truth, very comfortable but she is a jealous old cow - particularly jealous of:

Jellyd'ranyi:  a musical singing dragon with a vicious tail twitch.

Miss Demeanour:  a librarian of subtle charms.  She just "lervs" boy heroes and will always stamp their books with extra days and  -  naughty, naughty -  goes direct to their homes to collect outdated books.  Come to think  about it, they don't need to be outdated.

Bruno:  a boy hero of deceptive quality, he laughs a lot, which deceives others about his strengths, he always carries a hidden water canon to put out dragon fires, doesn't say much but is often found to be able to caress lovely girls with words of love.  Strong but vulnerable.

Terimk'avoy:  a shapeshifter of grotesque appearance even when attempting to look good. Has trouble when trying to be a liquid - is much better when trrying to produce soothing rounded shapes like a beach pebble but it still doesn't quite work.

Reyngoran:  a male fox with a distinct bush - orange and yellow, very fast on his feet - has to be because of his almost illuminated bush.  Likes the lady foxes - particularly:

Reynazhie: a delightful and small (petite) fox of Chinese descent with beautiful almond shaped eyes and a tendency to lisp - a characteristic that Reyngoran adores.

Perry:  a peregrine falcon with penetrating vision and speed beyond the normal, even for a bird of prey.  Is useful in a spying capacity.

Benji, Tenji, Oomi, Zoomi and Cronji - five elves from the silent wood who have the "hex" sign over the dragons.
