My heart is yours
and forever will it be
I will wait as long as it takes
to maybe once again be yours
I was there for you
Cared for you
Got outta bed at 3 am for you
I am devoted to you
You were my world
You were my all
Till you gave it away
ended it once and for all
I gave you my all
Gave you my heart
Gave you my hopes
Gave you my dreams
Shattered.

My life without you
Shattered.
I lie here now
Writing this poem
Revealing it all
My life
My everything.
I am filled with pain,
Pain that you caused
Pain that I caused you
Spreading through my system
like a common cold.
Same symptoms,
Runny nose
Sore throat
Caused from a virus
Called love
It’s a killer.
And it killed me.
