May the World

Simple and infinitely beautiful
There is eternal peace in the depths of the rhythm
Of a gently beating heart
And by the shelter provided, may the rain never cease
For the light and the warmth radiates
Deeper within

A calm and sweeping connection
Is a lesson, a blank canvas for passion to paint
Taught only by, the softly beating heart
With beats so silent, so soothing
It contains a message
Shared only by a single pair of lips
Delicately to a lone pair of ears

Tender and alighting, there is eternity
Harmony in the soul, peace in the spirit
May the world be touched by this love
And the serenity of its shelter

Please tell me what you think

This is lovely. I actually thought of a child peaceful and safe in its mothers arms, or even her womb, with the sound of heartbeat close. What a soothing and sweet write, it is calming in a soul-deep way, and a nice change from some of the very dark writes I've been getting.

Great poem, thanks for entering and letting me read it.
