Elegance bewitched by stiches,
confronting the feigned veil
of beauty.
Scalpel digs into her flesh,
parting it open for artificial
beauty to seethe.
Revenge slips from her eyes,
when desire takes her whole;
preffering to feel pain,
than feel none.

A great emotive take on the prompt here. Love that first line, sets it off just right. Nicely done! Thanks so much for the entry!

This stanza sounds kind of rare, but I love it all the same because I believe in it. Beauty can seep out even the darkest of holes. And I love you take on the pic, you found beauty, made a disturbing, lol, looking girl into a beautiful, pained woman. Once again sis, in awe!
