The clock of time is ticking
Prophesies all foretold
The signs of time now evident
From the ages of old
From His throne in heaven
God the Father said to His Son
"Things are almost complete"
The rapture will soon come!"
Earthquakes,tornadoes,cyclones
Every kind of disaster
Seen around the world
Is more than man can master
The world seems in pangs of death
Wars seem never ending
Children starving, diseases ravage
People' hearts now rending
Jesus wept as the cries
Of those He loves now seeking
Relief from the distress
Crying "Come Lord Jesus!",weeping
While the sad events in earth
Would seem all there is and fear
Many people hearing God's word
Are lifted up in cheer
The singing song of saints
In heaven gather all around
While angels join in chorus
Singing lovely sounds
The tears of Jesus drop
Upon the troubled earth
His grace and mercy now abound
For mankind it has great worth
He shed His blood for you and me
And all the world will know
There is a Savior up in heaven
Who's always loved us so!
The light of God now glows
His spirit no longer dispelled
For Jesus's tears dispel the fears
And the world in peace now dwells!
Author notes
A poem for the picture...of Jesus's tears, and His compassion as He prays making intercession for us to the Father..and His tears, and the power of His prayers for us, changes the world, as we with Him, pray for His glory in the earth!
