Dreamland

Laugh out loud
wind rushing through
canonizing my blood
and pulling me to

Here; I stand tall
on my tip toes
one eye above the wall
gazing onto the green fields beyond

And past the fields
is a sea of blue,
lovely dreams that
cut me in two

With their lust;
and their greed
but I am a bard with a harp
climbing for an apple on a golden tree

And you are a mirror
shattered and glued
put back together with music
and the love of a tune

So sail me away
on that calm sea of blue
and remember my blood
spilt in this dreamland for you

Give me a critical thought.

Wow! Great imagery! My favorite stanza is the second to last. The last two lines really hit home, probably because I like music so much. Very interesting, how far we will go for love, even in our dreams. Well done!
