unexpected love

The day he walked into my life was in computer class
He was handsome and good-looking
All I could do was stare there was no way that he would ever notice me
As the year slowly passed us by I soon became a tenth grader
And he soon became a 12th grader
Then that on faithful night in October
Checking a few emails I saw his picture
with a comment saying I was beautiful
He asked me to homecoming but sadly I was going with only friends
But I was to save him a dance
As the night of homecoming was on us I walked over to him
He was to ask me five questions but first I still owed him a dance
As we danced everyone else disappeared I was shocked he wanted me over his ex
As the dance finished I gave him a kiss and he asked me the five questions
Then out of the blue he asked if I wanted my sixth question now or later on the phone
With a puzzled look on my face I said now and he asked me to be his girlfriend
I waited till Monday and said yes
It's been eight months and we are still going strong
I can honestly say that was my unexpected love story
