Courage made of steel
and a heart made of gold
pushing through the rough terrains
scortching deserts, winters cold
This man smiles proud
Pledged his life to the USA
and he'll stand his ground
come what may
He does what others
are to afraid to do
He cant call in on Mondays
or hot days, when the sky shines blue
If hes hurt
he pushes through
because fighting for his country
is what he signed up to do
This man is my hero
My man so true
and if he ever needs me
there isnt anything I wont do
He doesnt ask for anything
and he gets the job done
hes not always serious
He likes to have fun
He knows at anytime
he could be killed, shot dead
but he doesnt let the fear
get to his head
So stand in applause
and give him a hand
For being a brave American Soldier
and fighting for our land
