peach honeycomb

Missing image

scented sunbeams,

     set sail upon mornings song,

- let loose your promise once pure -

roses of peach nectar,

     delicate fragrance aloft,

- lay your honeycomb petals upon my breast -

tightly woven cocoon of birch,

caressing entwined bodies under your canopy,

- shade us from this day of haste -

    Nice work!

Love this! Such a delicate weaving of metaphor & words that paint lovely visions! Interesting how you picked each word & built a very visual scene around each! Bravo poet! Dreamy....

Wonderful snippets of descriptives laced with humble prayer. I don't quite know if it gets more serene than this.

Lovely work. Thank you for a splendid entry. ~Pamela

    My Dear Uncle,

This is fantastic!! What a beautiful read this one is! In some ways it reminded me of one I did a while back, Peach Blossom Comfort, not sure if you have read it or not, but this is just as comforting and amazing!

Best of luck to you in this contest!

    and love

    Nyetta
