One day will I sigh
and bleed happily
to be finally
cut – free;
this lowly worm
severed chrysalis born.
Soaring wing
creature,
no dreary sky
feature,
singing freely
like that bluebird
away, way up high.
Someday, somewhere,
will I sigh and bleed
happily, sometime
in a land far, far away
from here.
Sighs within deep cries
inside,
this little bird
weeping silently;
sweeping away
these feathered skies.
And, then,
I will ride upon
newly born moon beams
at last set free;
when the skies open for me.

Richard you have blown me away,quite simply.
This I think is your poem for me to date, it is breathtaking-it hits me right in my chest-YES yes I want this-one day.
I havn't been around much of late, been busy building my practice and working on my self endlesly it feels, one failed marriage later and four kids to bring up on my own-I want to sigh like this-even if just for a second,
God bless you Richard, once again your work has touched me,
love to you

Beautiful! For me this speaks of the burden of our earthly bodies and earthly life and that when we pass from this realm into the next we will fly free! Love it! ***Pam***

Beautiful!
I am in awe as I read this poem. What a sad but hopeful write you have created here. I hope that sky opens wide for you soon so you can spread those strong and lovely wings and finally be free. This is wonderful. Blessings, Patty
