Memories
By: W. Peter Sanci
A lonely snail I did happen to see on my
walk today.
What wonderful memories it did conjour
Up in my mind.
Nana cooking bablose in her special sauce.
She let them crawl around the kitchen,
before they met their gruesome fate.
The whole house smelled of garlic when
you walked in the door.
T hen when you tasted them for the first time ……….. Wow.
What a beautiful walk I had this morning.
