You've walked with me
our footprints embedded in the sand
making me understand where I'm going
in this life
when I was alone
you came beside me
even though I didn't know
where I myself was headed
You looked into my eyes
and promised me
you would always be there
when ever I needed a friend
my life was going by so fast
that I felt like I have many times before
I felt scared
I felt afraid of the unknown
when I had felt that I had lost my way
you gave me stengh to carry on
you led the way
with our footprints in the sand
you promised me that you would always be there
through my sadness and despair
there to carry me
and you said "that's why now there is one one set of footprints in the sand"

This was a very interesting read. It had powerful imagery and showed alot of emotion!
I would say this was a poem well written.
'you promised me that you would always be there
