My eyes weep
for humanity today,
compassion for one another
displaced-
and my heart bleeds
for fellow man
knows not
the meaning of
"Love one another"
-OR-
"Do unto others as
you would have them do unto you"
Caring and helping
your fellow man,
is what we need
to re-learn...

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Lesson To Be Re-Learned
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I did several times~ I kept shedding tears
for I was envisioning a code pink-
a baby in stress (not breathing)- how one would react, whether complain about working overtime to help revive this child or ready to head out the door- another typical day in the ER- When You mention: and my heart bleeds for fellow man- I am right beside You for it is painful to see-imagine a person neglected when Life hangs in the balance
After reading Your words- I was envisioning You stepping forward and working to make a difference- show through action with do- instead of do nothing- I imagine how many lives are given second chances instead of final warnings- before the morgue door closed
The last stanza grabs- so many do need to re-learn

Excellent Voice spoken~
Powerful images & message You have brought forth
Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love & light~ Desire~*~
