A We Used To Be

Her youthfull days are over yet her story remains.
Before i got to know her better she was a muse.
Her princess like behavior still remains
She used to dance like a ballerina,
And her thin and slender figure drove me crazy.
She enjoyed playing around with the wind
She was one with the air.
Now her figure is not at her best
Though still beautiful, gentler she has become...

His white hair is prove that he is wiser,
He used to be a player and a dancer.
He played around with various girl
He was different and nothing similar to me
Though still lovelier, he has become a little slower than before.

We still rememeber our youthfull ways

Yet we still remain in love as in the old days

I couldn't forget her before much less today

I used to reject him before but no more of that i may

Im hers

Im his

From yesterday only memories remain

Physical beauty is nothing compare to true love..

This is without a doubt a beautiful poem, that flows so nicely and holds love in high reguard.
However, you did not follow the rules of keeping the poem between 20-70 words, but I am in a nice mood so I'll let it slide this one time. Next time please read the contest page entirely

Thank you & Best of luck
    Stay safe
