We danced and drank and chatted all night long
Were not in love just friends with time to spare
The DJ called an end and played "That song"
And we were all alone, with no-one there
I kissed your lips, the slightest little touch
And felt your lips press harder onto mine
We wanted one another far too much
Your tongue and lips and tastes of cheap red wine
The song had ended, party cleared away
But no-one tried to break the friends apart
I do not know how long we kissed that day
I only know it came straight from my heart
We never kissed again, nor ever will
But I can feel your lips are on me still
