Your adulation lit my fire
I was easily impressed,
Your body was so tempting,
Every time that you undressed.
Then the change in your demeanour
Coming out with hate and spite,
That angry green eyed monster
Droning constant day and night.
The time is late for acquiescence
You have worn this once true heart
I leave before my head implodes;
Before the violence start
I gave you everything,
You took it,
I don't care.

A well -written little opus here. Hell hath no fury like a jealous tart, that's always been my motto and so shall it remain for all eternity. I look foreward to equally penentrating comments on my latest works of art.

good read
Often wondered where they came from 'Green eyed monster for jealousy Yellow for a coward
I found the first line hard to scan, too many syllables but that's just me being picky.
I like the second verse good rhythm and scansion. overall I enjoyed it.

good message
You express your frustration, and sadness due to her jealousy, very well in your poem. So many of us are too easily impressed, and end up getting hurt because of some negative emotions.
Thank you for your entry, and good luck!
