Her scars
She drowns herself in her tears
to escape from her fears
the tears are like a pool
why is love so cruel
through the good and the bad
the happy and the sad
she was the one i loved
but it was a love untold
the blue in her eyes
the curve of her smile
why didnt i tell her how i felt
that i loved her more than she will ever know
more than i could ever show
she cries herself to sleep
to blur the thoughts
but the tears cried only leave a stain on a broken heart
and the cries for mercy, disapered to deaf ears
"why" she asks
"why me"
"what have i done to desrve this"
is this the price of love
the storm after the calm
this time its too much
this time its gone too far
only the mirror can see the scar
only the mirror can see her scars
why did he do that to her
how could he be so cruel
he used her as if she was nothing
nothing more than a tool
now he's moved on
but she's still alone
she had a heart of gold
but that heart he broke like a stone
she get worse
next thing i know
she's in the hearse
the place where she lays
where her heart can be safe
away from her nightmare
is this the price of love we pay
only the mirror can see the scar
only the mirror can see her scars
i loved you
but never said
and now i will never know if you felt the same
because now you're dead...
