The sky was dark tonight

Devoid of all stars
They were in your eyes

And the moon played hide and seek
Within the folds of your jacket

The wind tousled your hair
Like a mother would her young son

And I leaned into your embrace
The way the ocean leans into the shore

Wanting to lose myself in you
And never return
