There we were adieux under the stars
and the only sound was the other’s voice
A soft summer breeze made the dark pine
Sway just a little. We could see them
outlined by the pale moon.
It was full impassioned as were we.
Two creatures who wanted nothing more
than to touch taste smell and immerse
all of their soul into the other.
I felt every bit of your intensity in that moment
as you did me. We shared the lightning bold
that we each rode across the others horizon.
I can say that you were the perfect dream
of what a lover should be, the perfect taste
of a beautiful kiss. I close my eyes even today
and when I think of you I feel those ruby lips
all over me as I know you feel mine all over you.

Bravo! This was really good. Sounds like a reflection of love lost. Or shall I say passion lost. A passion that was so great that it could be compared to the fullness of the moon...WOW!!!
