In Dakota's Black Hills
stare men of strong will.
Each challenge embraced
with boldness and grace;
firm character chiseled
upon mountain's face.
On Mount Rushmore's wall
four mortals rise tall.
One nation they saved
with vision that paved
a wide road of promise
for the free and the brave.
stare men of strong will.
Each challenge embraced
with boldness and grace;
firm character chiseled
upon mountain's face.
On Mount Rushmore's wall
four mortals rise tall.
One nation they saved
with vision that paved
a wide road of promise
for the free and the brave.

Thanks for your entry!
Well, I haven't been there, but I hope to someday. Its only a 5 hour drive from me so maybe I'll get up north there this summer. Excellent rewrite and a wonderful entry. Keep up the great work!

Thank you. You should definitely visit this area, well worth the visit. Also check out the progress on the Crazy Horse Monument;
a great place to visit also.
Then, of course there's Devil's Tower in eastern Wyoming, then the Grand Tetons in Western Wyoming, and the jewel crown of out national parks (in my opinion) Yellowstone, which is just phenomenal.
