First kiss

Happiness slightly slips
into silent smiles sly
and lightly lit on
your luscious lingering lips.

Hot headed hearts speak
of caution cast away
and the journey of joy
so slow to reach its peak.

Author notes

I wrote this about someone I never had the guts to kiss and should have.

Great piece of poetry my friend. Sounds just like the kind of kiss everybody wants for a fist kiss. I know how this feels. There has been one or two I wish I had kissed in my time and never did.
