Memories of the way I would dance,
with him, the two of us floated on air,
our laughter, our joy.
Every song was our dance back then.
Now he dances in another place,
with angels who know our steps.
He may have left me in soul,
but it does not change how I feel.
When I am walking alone and hear music,
there in front of me,
all around me, he and I dance.
