Memories Dance

Missing image
Shadows of yesterday, haunting mirage,
sunlight brings forth, dancing collage.
Bit and pieces of memories locked away,
love and hope come alive upon this day.

Moment in time of what could not be,
dance shadow dance long ago memory.
Once again life has slowly passed by,
shadows gone, sun fades from the sky.

    The Reality of our MORTALITY!

    Only someone who knows would be able to say it as you have here. When we're younger, we really have no concept of the brevity of life, but with AGING comes WISDOM. At least that SHOULD be the case, right? How sad though, that even though "older folks" KNOW that their life on this earth is NOT forever, still, MOST act as though that WILL be the case! A very sad testimony to the sinfulness of man without his Creator! This is the very reason why we hear the cliched "set in their ways" about the elderly. That's just a polite way of acknowledging OUR STUBBOURN REBELLIOUS UNREGENERATE NATURE! Man never wants to confess his sins and wickedness until he's been HUMBLED UNDER THE HOLY GOD AGAINST WHOM HE'S SINNED! Very well written! AND GOD BLESS A SEASONED SAINT LIKE YOU! You're a good testimony for your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
