eyes of journey
that travels over
oceans of time.
She calls me in silence
with melodies
that whisper my name.
Her youthful stage forbids me
to enter the dimensions
of her deepest need.
So tender in mourning,
I hear her reaching
out to me.
I am her soul in waiting,
the missing piece of
her phantom self.
In the silence of her
melancholy desires,
songs of hello tap me
on the shoulder.
Awakened by the mystique
of her sojourneying spirit,

I put this song in here because I really love it, since it was the theme song from "Friends". I also like how you didn't use the name of the song for your title, shows true creativity. A very nice take on the song, about being there for you friend forever, even though in the one stanza is says that she doesn't want you to be that close. Nice write, and thanks for your entry.
