Pages within my novel
were as real to me as life.
Each word pulled at my heart
taking me to places far away.
As the wind carried pieces of words
imagination opened up like a window,
thoughts drifted in and out
ideas ran ahead of themselves.
Fingers traveled across the keyboard
words poured forth with beauty.
amazing myself with each page
never knowing what direction I was going
Contemplating each character’s persona
making up situation as I went.
The end result was a revelation to me…
