I regret not being strong enough
To make you go away
I regret not being strong enough
To truly make you pay
I regret not hitting you harder
When I brandished my hockey stick
I regret not killing you after
You made me feel so shit
I regret not smashing your head
Against the wide brick wall
I regret that it took me so long
To realise what you did was not my fault.

Well seeing as I have you as an AP sis I thought I should come read some more of your poems and happened to click this one. I like this poem because you were able to use very few words and yet put so much emotion into them! I'm sorry for whatever happened to you (I'm assuming due to the categories) that inspired this, but it turned out to be such a powerful write.
