Go Green! (a Non-Entry.)

GO GREEN!  A NON-ENTRY.

Green! Green! Green! Is the colour of my true love’s hair.
It matches with her emerald Irish eyes beyond compare.
Last week she’d dyed it purple and the week before bright pink -
I can’t remember earlier - ‘twas orange then I think.

You ought to see the mess she made all round the kitchen sink,
the multicoloured stains on floor (not mentioning the stink!)
She says she’s sick of phoney colours, thinks she’ll dye it black
to stop the global warming causing pimples on her back.

I never argue with her ‘coz I know I’ll never win
but I’ve been scared she’d try to change the colour of her skin!
I wrote the other day to ask advice from friend Maureen,
in case my true love got ideas to go all-over green.

Of my true love, I’ll have you know, I’m really very fond.
Before she started dyeing, she was naturally blonde!

    Greensies hair, aggghhhhh!!!

    Coelho think it no look good on wife Bonnie, she sneaks up on Coelho when he sleep in hammock all the day and greensie hair blend in with palmsies the trees. Coelho want bell for Bonniee, ha ha ha, funny, yes?

    Coelho heards the green that be thumb, but never the green that be bum...Bonnie bum just big but no the green, ha ha ha, funny, no?

      Of Bonnie's bum, I've often heard
      they say its size is quite absurd
      but what is worse, they say her knockers
      are veritably mammoth shockers!

      To bum and boobs as big as that
      I feel that I should raise my hat
      and, in reply, can only say,
      "Coelho - why you sleep all day?"

      and just to get the record right...
      "GUINEA PIG LOVERS OF THE WORLD UNITE!"

    Oh what a beautiful colour your loves hair is.
    You know that is all the rage now, to have your hair different colours, even the boys do it!
    If your sweety was a natural blond I don't think the colour black will suit her.

    I don't know, I think she looks kind of cute with green hair...and if she has green lipstick, well, that would be the kicker!

    Those spots on her back...with the sun and all these days, she'd better have them checked out...

    I am green with envy over your green haired beauty. Now there's a poem waiting to happen.

    I'm green with envy! (not really, I just wanted to say something green) Enjoyed your poem! I hope your naturally blonde friend took my advice and used the tanning spray all the celebrities use. Great way to look like you've just been on vacation without having to lie in the blistering sun all day!

    Oh I want that colour!

    Dear Hugh,
    What a beaut entry! You'd be surprised at how many colours even the boys spray on their hair in Australia. Why, young Robert (Wayne's son) has his red hair bleached blond and he has pink, green and purple streaks through it!It looks shocking, but he loves it, even goes to school with it on! It looks OK on Sheila's but not on blokes. So watch your wife! Don't let her see one like that or she'll go multi-coloured too! One colour at a time is not as bad.

    Lol... I wonder if she coiuld be a sequel to the old movie, "The Boy With Green Hair" ?? Or perhaps that movie was the forerunner of this whole global green thing. Who knows with Hollywood

    A cute poem, Hugh, considering your expertise with boobs, though, maybe you ought to worry about her going green in that direction
