~Teardrops in Puddles of Uncertainty~

Missing image
Hearts beating, uncertain of love,
a complicated web of illusions.
Barriers hold back tears of confusion,
release them beautiful dove for they will run dry.

Hidden gems with hearts of gold,
learning to live & love, with out bruising permanently,
afraid of being left alone in the cold,
opening the door to pain's excruciating knocks.

Examining life's intricate design,
fragile beauty destined to merge pathways
of platinum amidst journeys of exploration,
strongly planted firm.
Nature taunts freedom to set free,
only to open your heart again when your
wounds have healed, a pebble cast in a puddle, ripples of hurt pass.

Love is the one thing in life that is always uncertain. Using the butterfly as the metaphor you have skillfully crafted a poem describing hurts, healing and hope. Your imagery is so beautiful.
