We honor and revere
the giants of peace
that have shone like
brilliant lights in the
darkness of the human
greed and hate…
Ghandi, Lennon, Carter,
Kennedy, Pope John Paul II,
King… their voices fill the
air, their words fall like tears
and pool in tomes of hope.
It is not enough to read them,
you must take them into your
heart… your life…
and live them.
The book of peace
lies within each
of us...
