we were two clouds of white,
just floating with the sun.
Only the wind controlled us.
It didn't matter;
I loved you.
Night came,
Dark Night,
Midnight Rhapsody, blind in shadows.
But the moon came up,
just sprang up to greet you.
Hello, cloud.
White shone in your eyes.
Dazzled and dazed.
You left me in this breeze.
This fucking light breeze.
Ditched me for an ethereal half crescent.
Wait, oh wait!
Dawn shall come and She'll be gone.
But always will she rise back.
Fucking light breeze,
holding me still.
Author notes
This is one of my favorite poems i have written. It holds a special part of me and what I've been through. Enjoy!
Note: There is profanity. But only a little
