Heaven above

Today, a year since you've passed away,

Away from this cruel world filled with loneliness and pain,

You not being here does drive me insane,

For your beautiful face in my mind does not cease.

 

 

 

Your smile could surely light a dark room,

When there was something wrong,

It never did show,

Cheering up those lower than the ground.

 

 

 

When you were laid down to sleep,

Such a vibrant smile on your face you did keep,

And so,

To heaven above, I send the deepest of love.

    My dear sister in Christ! My heart goes out to you! This is such a heartbreaking poem! I know you must have had a hard time writing it, but I'm glad you are able to do that! Poetry is my BEST way of expressing my true feelings! I will pray for you!

        How am I supposed to know that? Perhaps child-writers should put a note to that effect in order to ensure adults are aware, especially since the accompanying picture of someone with lipstick looks like a much older person

    She Sounds Like A Wonderful Woman

    Wow what a beautiful tribute to someone you enjoyed. I'm so sorry for your loss but in your words she sounds like a wonderful woman who brought joy to many lifes.
