Scatterlings and strays,
left behind, unneeded, unwanted.
They drift like so much flotsam
Upon a memory tossed sea.
They live.
Waifs and gamins,
abandoned by lifes promises.
They grow strong, tough like weeds
Pushing up through broken roads.
They live.
It's another world, we're uninvited.

I like the "scatterlings" take you gave this... drifting on a memory tossed sea, abandoned by life yet they live. Congratulations on the gold.
