With each new dawn and sunset
His hand is clearly seen,
another chance to view our lives
the slate once more is clean.
Gentle touch as each new leaf unfurls
strength of trunk with roots so firm,
each rose of tender velvet
His creation is affirmed.
The bluebird and the eagle
stretch their wings and soar so free,
His wish that all mankind could fly
and be as one across all seas.
The mighty oceans vast and deep
both stormy and serene,
examples of His love so strong
and all emotion in between.
To view creation all around
His divinity is clear,
I never doubt His precious gifts
of that I'm very clear.

This flowed really well, except a little glitch in the second stanza, but it wasn't terrible. I agree with the poem that is the main thing. Good luck in the contest, you should get something, In my opinion.
