Within my head are many voices
So for muses I have choices
Just keep them happy and well fed
And words just tumble round my head.
Some have meter some have rhyme
Some keep talking all the time
So when the time arrives to muse
I've got plenty I can choose!

This is really good, I ejoyed reading this lot, I dop not believe in muses as a person per se, so this touches home..All the best!

I think mine just died or the migraine has really taken hold...and you know I envy you your 'little men', especially as I only have one

Wonder if we can swap muses or is that on a par of wife swapping?? Nice write Jeff. I want to paint a head with words falling about now... thank you I think?

Wow aren't you lucky, I have one that's very stubborn
Neat piece, excellent flow and rhyme. Good luck in the contest

lol - and I see that the rhyming one usually wins through huh?

hmpf! mine battles to string two words together and yours flows from the tongue wonderfully
thank you for your entry

For you
I could reform
and write
free verse
but then
The other muses
weep
for rhyme and meter
are their
wine
and
cake
Each voice can learn
to write each style
and everyone
will write
for
you
How's that?

hahahahahahahahahahaha - wine and cake huh? should it not be 'whine' and cake for the rhyming muses?
