flows elegantly on silken tan.

 

Shading parasol under midday sun,

She floats..........

 

Freely,

Her heart skips.

 

Sweet scents of Cherry blossom,

unfurl.

 
Sprig, hand picked,

A reminder.

 

Fields capturing dreams,

a tapestry in cross stitch,

framing perfection.

    Beautifully penned hun, reminds me of what spring should be like *sighs* Warm, happy, full of joy. Instead we have dull and wet here...lol. Congrats on the HM!

    This makes me think of a song by Vanessa Carlton called "She floats"..

    Anyways..

    That first stanza is excellent description of the picture...great job.

    "Shading parasol under midday son"
    'Parasol' is SUCH a groovy word...it works so well in this line.

    "Sweet scents of cherry blossom, unfurl."
    Love the word 'unfurl'...great verb usage.

    "a tapestry in cross stitch,
    framing perfection."
    Ah...fantastical line...If perfection could be framed, I'd hang it on my wall =D

    but you diction, does wonders, and surpasses the picture. It's eloquently and expertly placed. there are no bland phrasings.
